On arrival in Colombo, our Representative will meet you and transferred to the exclusive Tintagel Colombo (the former residence of two Prime Ministers and a President). Depending on the time of arrival, you will embark subsequently on a tour of the City of Colombo: the Galle Face Green with a panoramic view of the Indian Ocean, the Presidential Secretariat (former Parliament), the Ganagarama Temple and the Independence Square. After Breakfast, take a helicopter tour to one of the unique historic and enchanting sites with many tales… Sigiriya Rock UNESCO's world heritage site dating to the 5th century BC. The aerial tour by helicopter will take you through a canopy of stunning landscape. Reaching Sigiriya helipad, you will be transferred by a SUV to the one time Rock Fortress of a King. To date, the Sigiriya ladies painted on the rock seem to convey an untold story of a by-gone era. An early breakfast will set the scene for yet another glimpse of history with a journey to the last kingdom capital of Kandy. En-route you will have your close encounters with the gentle kind… at the Elephant Orphanage in Pinnawela. Perhaps one of the most talked about world projects is Pinnawela located on the banks of the Maha-oya river where elephants are raised to maturity after having been found abandoned or injured in the country's jungles.
In the afternoon leave for Kandy town to witness a Kandyan cultural dance performance. Then Visit the "Sri Dalada Maligawa" the temple which houses the sacred tooth relic of Lord Buddha.

Visit the Royal Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya after breakfast. This exotic garden of 147 acres is home to more than 4000 species of plants including some a unique collection of orchids. Thereafter after a visit to the handicraft centre, take a drive upper lake for a panoramic view of this garden city. After Breakfast escape to the cool misty hills aboard a train. This experience is fascinating passing through mountains covered by pin trees and winding around the rolling carpets of tea, dotted steams and cascading waterfalls. On arrival at the Hatton station you will be transferred to an exclusive tea plantation bungalow where the touch of luxury mixes with class.

Breakfast to the chatter of the birds and then trek through the tea bushes with the resident Tea planter explaining the origin of tea to this isle culminating with a visit to the tea factory where you will be enlightened in the entire process of tea manufacture.
